Are your leadership skills keeping pace with the rate of change?
What changes to your management style will “Leaders” such as yourself, need to make when we all get back to working at capacity again? Firstly, don’t let’s use the “New Normal” expression. I have no idea what it really means (and neither do you - be honest). Ok, with that out of the way let’s get down to business.
This book provides critical thoughts, observations, and ideas about becoming a better and more successful Leader in today’s new Business World.
As Leaders, there are many nuances of our leadership style which we display every day. Sometimes we’re good, sometimes we’re bad – and sometimes we’re just downright annoying to other people, especially our to reporting staff and colleagues. We usually get away with it because “we’re the boss” and people are afraid to criticize the boss, so they accept the status quo. They’re not happy – so they just roll their eyes, shrug their shoulders, bite their tongue and shuffle back into their cubicle.
Well y’know what, the times they are a changing.
This pandemic has turned the way we do things upside down. So, those who “just want” to get back to the “old ways” will quickly find their forward motion in the company to be “slow and sticky”. If they don’t adapt – albeit grudgingly – then the tsunami of change will smother them.
